Core meets midweek at the church to engage in worship, teaching and interaction to help students make significant connections for growth. Middle School Core for grades 6 to 8 meets Wednesdays from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and High School Core for grades 9 to 12 meets Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m. The Core Cafe opens at 6:30 p.m. on both nights.
May 26 was an exciting night for the Hershey Free Church Student Ministry, as its new name was revealed … Core! The old name, TidalWave, was laid to rest in a mock funeral, and the new name and logo were unveiled to disco lighting, energetic music and confetti shot from “cannons.”
