Worship

Worship is an important part of KidzWorld and is practiced in a number of ways. On Sunday mornings, preschool and elementary children gather as a large group for an introduction to the morning’s lesson and learn “why” we worship God. They experience enthusiastic worship led by adults and teens with a passion for leading children in worship. What’s more, we encourage parents to model worship by inviting their children into one of the worship services with them. Children are always welcome members of the worship community.

Children’s Worship Teams

Adults and teens with a passion for teaching children to worship lead kids in singing upbeat praise songs as part of their Sunday-morning large group time. These teams are usually composed of one or two vocalists, a guitar player and sometimes a percussionist. Separate teams minister to elementary and preschool children. Participation is by audition: contact Chris Miller.

God’s Project Children’s Choir

God’s Project, the choir for 2nd- through 6th-graders rehearses on Wednesdays during the school year from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. in the auditorium. God’s Project performs occasionally during worship services and usually presents a musical in the spring. Registration information will be announced in the Sunday bulletin and on the website prior to the fall and spring seasons.
