The mission of KidzWorld is to partner with parents by introducing kids to Jesus and challenging them to live like him in this world. It encompasses all ministry to children at the Evangelical Free Church of Hershey, from nursery through fifth grade, including Hilltop Christian Nursery School. This is why we call it “a whole ministry for the whole child.” For information on any of these programs contact the person listed. Where there is no contact person, e-mail Priscilla Bomgardner or phone 533-2092, ext. 2014.
Volunteers, please note: Worker schedules for the Sunday-morning nursery, Wednesday-evening nursery and early childhood and weekday child care will be online by September 1, 2010. If you have questions about scheduling in the meantime, please write to Anne Marie McAlester or call 533-2092, ext. 2039.
The Garden Nursery
We operate a nursery for children from infancy to age two during Sunday worship services and for some daytime activities. It is also open on Wednesday evenings for those who volunteer in Wednesday-Night Friendzee or attend adult classes. Our goal is to provide a safe and loving environment where our youngest children experience the love of Jesus in a fun and welcoming place. For the children’s safety and parents’ peace of mind, we have a safety-oriented check-in system and use pagers to contact parents when necessary. For more information, write to Anne Marie McAlester or phone 533-2092, ext. 2039.

For more information write to Lori Keener or phone 533-2092, ext. 2040.
Discovery Mountain (Elementary)
Our ministry for children in first through fifth grades offers excellent, age-appropriate opportunities for children to learn from God’s Word about what God has done and how they can worship and follow him. Sunday-morning classes are structured by grade, and identical programs are offered at 9:15 and 11 a.m. Children participate in both large group and small groups led by caring adults. Wednesday-Night Friendzee
Wednesdays from 7 to 8:30 p.m. during the school year, children in kindergarten through 5th grade are invited to a fun-filled time of games and activities that will build positive relationships with adults and peers. It's also a time for children who regularly attend church activities to invite their friends from school or neighborhood to join in the fun and Bible teaching. Children must register for this free program.
Hilltop Christian Nursery School
The nursery school reaches out to children and their parents through a small classroom setting in a Christian environment. Using the pre-school wing of the Christian education facilities, the school serves over 100 students. Contact the school director, Becky Chocklette, at 533-8956, or visit the HCNS Web site for more information.

God's Project performs occasionally during worship services and participates in church musicals. Registration information is announced in the Sunday bulletin prior to the fall and spring seasons.
Hershey Home School Co-op
Home school families join together for educational enrichment classes on Thursdays from September through April. This group is open to members of our church and is designed to supplement the home school experience.
Special Events
Additional activities are scheduled throughout the year to offer children opportunities to learn and grow spiritually. These include Winter Blast, a retreat for 4th- and 5th-graders, summer day camp and a week-long summer camp for 4th- and 5th-graders at Camp Orchard Hill. Children should look for the special "Just For Kids" bulletin at the worship services. They will find Bible activities related to the sermon and announcements just for them. "Nursery News" is published quarterly for parents of infants and toddlers, as well as nursery workers. "Kudoz" is published periodically to celebrate what's happening in KidzWorld
