“The Lord’s program” and “best kept secret” are two expressions given when Martha and Dave Siwert share their heart about the “Released Time” ministry to children at Conewago Elementary School. China, Egypt, Russia, Japan, Georgia … these are a few of the nationalities represented at the Home Away from Home Pool Party on July 9. Stepping foot into an unknown environment can feel intimidating, overwhelming and even isolating. Hershey Free’s multi-faceted welcoming ministries, called 1st Impressions, serve to lessen these feelings by showing the love of God to all who enter.

Home Away from Home ( HAFH) just celebrated another year of meeting those needs with a year-end program in May. About 70 people attended a dinner of international fare prepared by the internationals themselves.
