It was nearly two weeks until Easter, and who would have thought the Old Testament was the perfect topic for a Hershey Free Church Women’s Retreat? Some of us were wondering, and some of us were skeptical, but God had us covered.

Well-trained lay ministry leaders will be indispensable as we move forward with joining together in God’s ongoing redemptive mission. Starting April 7 we will have a four-session course explaining how leaders will be helping to implement our philosophy of disciple making.

Life is often such a rush and sometimes we need to stop, come aside and rest awhile. Is it time to do something different? Is it time to consider going on a retreat?

Moms Connect will meet the first and third Thursdays of each month starting September 6. Each meeting will start with a brunch and socializing time, and will include table activities and/or a speaker and discussion time.

Women at the Hershey Free Church have the exciting opportunity to attend the Women of Faith Conference in Philadelphia on September 7 and 8. We have reserved 50 seats at $89 each.

Volunteers make vests that will be worn in the new Sunday School program, “Treasure Park,” for elementary and preschool kids. Helping out were Joyce Hetrick, Susan Johnson, Ann Gehman, Diana Landis, Judy Boyko and Kathy Foltz. Jen Stoner and Lauren Otto, children’s minstries staff, cut the fabric.

Great Expectations! 2012 is a one-day conference for women in their 20′s and 30′s from all walks of life who want to rediscover God’s dream for them!

Our members express personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and trust in him alone for salvation. This is the core of our beliefs, which are outlined in our statement of faith and with which we align our mission and vision statements. [more]
