The new, computerized child check-in system was launched on June 17. A few things were discovered that need to be “tweaked” in the system, but overall it went well. On June 24, parents will see self-check-in stations inside the nursery where they can scan the bar code they used the previous week to check in their child. There will be two stations in the hallway outside the nursery where parents who have not yet entered their information in the system can be helped by volunteers.
New computer stations will be located outside the preschool classroom wing Sunday, July 1. If parents have already entered their family information by checking in at the nursery, they can go right to the self-check-in station to sign in their preschooler. There will be volunteers here, also, to register parents who have not used the system before.
Computer check-in will be added to the elementary classroom building on Sunday, July 22.
