Women at the Hershey Free Church have the exciting opportunity to attend the Women of Faith Conference in Philadelphia on September 7 and 8. We have reserved 50 seats at $89 each.

This summer we will not be having Vacation Bible School because we are concentrating on providing 11 weeks, June 17 to August 26, of awesome summer programming on Sunday mornings!

Last year, one of the most popular “Go Wild with Dad” events was shooting clay birds. So by popular demand the Men’s Council is pleased to announce another “Go Wild With Dad” clay bird shoot at the Middletown Anglers’ & Hunters’ Association grounds on Saturday, June 9.

Another “Go Wild with Dad” event is planned for June 16. Join us for a half-day mountain biking experience in Swatara State Park.

For the last three weeks, the first and fourth graders have been participating in “Pandamania.” What is that you ask? It is a VBS curriculum that we have adapted to Sunday mornings. Men’s Quest was an amazing weekend with 200 men from the Hershey Free Church. God challenged us all and used Dr. Crawford Loritts to make some of his truths clear to us. We had lots of fun, but also grew in our faith and in relationship with each other.

More than 170 men and 32 teenage sons attended this year’s Hershey Free Church Men’s Quest at the Kenbrook Bible Camp on March 16 to 18. The planning started over a year ago by the Men’s Council for the three-day/two-night experience. Almost 100 volunteers helped in one way or another to make this another memorable men’s event.

Volunteers make vests that will be worn in the new Sunday School program, “Treasure Park,” for elementary and preschool kids. Helping out were Joyce Hetrick, Susan Johnson, Ann Gehman, Diana Landis, Judy Boyko and Kathy Foltz. Jen Stoner and Lauren Otto, children’s minstries staff, cut the fabric.
