Compassion Ministries spent $2,500 less on food for January’s Food Bank open house than is normally spent, thanks having food donated by the congregation. This means we have $2,500 more to use for other needs, such as helping with rent, utility bills and medical bills.

On December 31, 47 college-age young adults, high school seniors and adult leaders from the Hershey Free Church will head to Atlanta, Georgia, along with more than 20,000 university students from across the nation and around the world to attend the four-day-long PASSION 2011 Conference.

Senior Pastor George Davis recently announced that David Boerema will be our new pastor for student ministries starting February 1.
The bulletin board in the nursery hallway displays an array of tiny sweaters, each knitted by someone in our congregation. As each new baby is born over the next year, a sweater will be given a tag that reads “Hand-knit by God” and lists the child’s name, parents and birth date.
