Food Donations Cut Expenses

Compassion Ministries spent $2,500 less on food for January’s Food Bank open house than is normally spent, thanks having food donated by the congregation. This means we have $2,500 more to use for other needs, such as helping with rent, utility bills and medical bills.

Nursery Celebrates God’s Handiwork

The bulletin board in the nursery hallway displays an array of tiny sweaters, each knitted by someone in our congregation. As each new baby is born over the next year, a sweater will be given a tag that reads “Hand-knit by God” and lists the child’s name, parents and birth date.
